A special Yoga Class was conducted for faculty, and staff members. The session included warm-up exercises, Yogasanas, Pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques. Participants learned correct Yoga practices and their benefits in maintaining physical fitness and mental calmness.

An Ayurvedic Health Camp (Shivir) was conducted in Village Belda. Faculty members and healthcare professionals provided health consultations and preventive healthcare guidance to villagers. Information regarding Yogic practices for maintaining health and preventing lifestyle disorders was also disseminated. The camp contributed significantly to community health awareness and outreach.

A Rangoli Competition based on the theme of Yoga and holistic health was organized. It creatively depicted Yogic postures, symbols of wellness, and messages promoting healthy living through artistic designs. The competition encouraged creativity while reinforcing the significance of Yoga in daily life.

A community outreach program consisting of a Yoga Demonstration and Health Camp was organized. Faculty members and Yoga experts demonstrated various Yogasanas, Pranayama techniques, and relaxation practices. Participants were educated about the role of Yoga in stress management, lifestyle disorders, and overall wellness.

Simultaneously, a health camp was conducted where Ayurvedic consultations and health advice were provided to the local community. The initiative received an encouraging response from residents and promoted awareness regarding Yoga and Ayurveda.Dr. Khushboo, Dr. Varun, Dr. Vairagi, Dr. Tejwant, Dr. Jayvinder Singh, Mr. Uday Pal and Mr. Sharukh were present.

In commemoration of the 12th International Day of Yoga, COER Medical College of Ayurveda & Hospital (CMCAH), Roorkee organized a week-long celebration of World Yoga Week from 15th June 2026 to 21st June 2026. The event aimed to promote awareness regarding the importance of Yoga in maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Various academic, cultural, community outreach, and fitness-related activities were organized throughout the week to encourage students, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and the general public to adopt Yoga as a way of life.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members,  hospital staff, and members.

The Yoga Week commenced with a Poster Presentation Competition. Students prepared informative and creative posters highlighting various aspects of Yoga, including its historical background, therapeutic applications, role in disease prevention, and relevance in modern lifestyles. Faculty members evaluated the posters based on content, creativity, presentation, and scientific relevance. The activity provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their understanding of Yoga and health promotion.

Coer Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee (CMCAH), celebrated World enviornment day  on 5th June 2026. On this occasion, tree plantation was organized. Every tree planted today symbolizes our collective responsibility toward a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future. Protecting the environment is not merely a duty but a shared commitment to preserving natural resources and maintaining ecological balance for future generations. At CMCAH College, we believe that environmental consciousness begins with education and is strengthened through meaningful action. Through awareness initiatives, sustainable practices, and active community participation, we strive to foster a culture of environmental responsibility among our students, faculty, and staff.

COER Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee, organized a pledge ceremony on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day on 4th June 2026.The program aimed to create awareness among faculty members, and staff regarding the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and to promote a tobacco-free lifestyle.

COER Medical College ofAyurveda & Hospital (CMCAH), Roorkee successfully organized a collective Sustainability and Responsible Conduct Pledge Ceremony On June 4, 2026, at the Ahilya Bhawan Reception Area. Initiated under the direction of Principal Dr. Pratyush Kumar, the event formalized institutional adherence to the ethical and environmental mandates of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). The ceremony mandated concrete behavioral shifts across personal and professional domains for all faculty and staff.

Coer Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee (CMCAH), Kaumarbhritya department, organized a successful Swarnaprashana Camp at Hari Ashray, near Patanjali phase 2, on 21^st May 2026, the auspicious Ravi Pushya Nakshatra. Seizing this powerful celestial alignment, this Suvarnaprashana ritual is designed to foster holistic growth and resilience in children. Dr. Deepa, Dr. Tejwant, Mr. Sunil, Mr. Aman, Ms. Deepika were present.

CMCAH organized an awareness lecture for the female employees of Hindustan Unilever Limited Company, BHEL On 29th April 2026. During the session, our student Ms. Akriti Goswami delivered a PPT presentation on nutritional guidance in chronic disorders such as Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Hypertension (HTN), etc., under the guidance of Dr. Khushboo, Associate Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa.

Coer Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee (CMCAH), Department of Kaumarbhritya celebrated world immunisation week 2026 on 29th April 2026. On this occasion , a class presentation was given by Student of 2021 batch Maimuna Ansari, she shared her thoughts on how vaccines had helped humanity to fight against diseases.

Coer Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee (CMCAH), celebrated world Malaria day on 25th April 2026. On this occasion, Quiz competition and PPT presentation about Malaria day was organized. All faculty members and students actively participated in it.

Coer Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee (CMCAH), organized educational field visit of the BAMS Batch 2023 was conducted on 23rd April 2026 to the Deoban Reserve Forest Range, Chakrata. A total of 27 students, accompanied by faculty members Dr. Kush Pandey, Dr. Vikas Jadon, and Dr. Pratibha Singh, participated in the trip. The visit was guided by forest officials, who provided valuable insights throughout the tour. Students explored the Deoban Hi-Tech Medicinal Plant Nursery, which houses more than 45 medicinal plant species, including rare, endangered, and threatened species such as Aconitum heterophyllum (Atis), Lilium polyphyllum (Ksheerakakoli), Polygonatum cirrhifolium (Mahameda), Picrorhiza kurroa (Kutki), etc. They also visited a high-altitude floral biodiversity park, where they observed important medicinal plants such as Taxus baccata(Thuner), Skimmia laureola (Kedarpatti), Trillium govanianum (Naagchatra), and other plants related to Astavarga Dravya, along with a cryptogarden and the local flora of the Deoban range.

COER Medical College of Ayurveda & Hospital (CMCAH), Kayachikitsa department organized a field visit on 9th April 2026 at Nirvan de-addiction and rehabilitation centre, Laksar ,Haridwar. The camp was led by Dr. Anurita Gupta Malhotra, Dr. Khushboo Bhardwaj and Dr. Harshmani Mamgain.Objectives of the visit is to provide practical exposure and enhance student understanding of clinical practices, drug de-addiction management and rehabilitation procedures. All students of Batch 2021, participated, interacted with patients and also go through the treatment protocol given for de-addiction.

COER Medical College of Ayurveda & Hospital (CMCAH) organized a Health Awareness and Free Medicine Distribution Camp on 8th April 2026 at village Mooldaspur Majra, Haridwar, benefiting over 90 patients with free consultations and Ayurvedic medicines.
The camp was led by Dr. Vimal Sharma, Dr. Sunita Yadav, Dr. Vishakha Kashyap, Dr. Tejwant Prakash with support from Mr. Ankur Kumar (Pharmacist) and Ms. Shalu Saini (Nursing Staff).
BAMS Batch 2023 students also participated actively, gaining practical exposure.

Coer Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee (CMCAH), celebrated world tuberculosis day on 24^th March 2026. On this occasion, Rangoli competition, Poster presentation, awarness lecture about tuberculosis and Nukkad natak was organized. All faculty members and students actively participated in it.

CMCAH (COER medical college of ayurved and hospital) organised an interactive practical session on 16th March 2026, in which muscles and bones were drawn on the body surface of the students to improve their understanding of anatomy. This activity helped students connect theoretical knowledge with real human body structures and made learning more clear, practical, and engaging.

The collaboration marks a pivotal moment for the region’s healthcare and educational landscape, focusing on clinical research, herbal drug manufacturing, and practical training for aspiring Ayurvedic practitioners.

CMCAH celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26^th January 2026. The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Sh. S.J. Jain, vice-president along with our faculties, staff members, and students. From the hoisting of the tricolor to the echoes of patriotic melodies, the day was a heartfelt tribute to our nation’s journey of courage, sacrifice, and progress. Here’s to keeping the spirit of freedom alive — today and always.

CMCAH celebrated the Vasant Panchami on 23^rd  January 2026. This auspicious day of Saraswati poojan, bless everyone with the light of knowledge, wisdom, creativity, and new beginnings.
