Day 4: Health Camp (Shivir) Date: 18 June 2026 Time: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM Venue: Village Belda, Roorkee An Ayurvedic Health Camp (Shivir) was conducted in Village Belda. Faculty members and healthcare professionals provided health consultations and preventive healthcare guidance to villagers. Information regarding Yogic practices for maintaining health and preventing lifestyle disorders was also disseminated. The camp contributed significantly to community health awareness and outreach. Day 3: Rangoli Competition Date: 17 June 2026 Time: 10:00 AM onwards Venue: Ahilya Bhawan Reception Area A Rangoli Competition based on the theme of Yoga and holistic health was organized. It creatively depicted Yogic postures, symbols of wellness, and messages promoting healthy living through artistic designs. The competition encouraged creativity while reinforcing the significance of Yoga in daily life. Day 2: Yoga Demonstration and Health Camp Date: 16 June 2026 Time: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM Venue: Ganesh Vatika, Arya Nagar, Gajiwali, Haridwar A community outreach program consisting of a Yoga Demonstration and Health Camp was organized. Faculty members and Yoga experts demonstrated various Yogasanas, Pranayama techniques, and relaxation practices. Participants were educated about the role of Yoga in stress management, lifestyle disorders, and overall wellness. Simultaneously, a health camp was conducted where Ayurvedic consultations and health advice were provided to the local community. Educational Field Visit to Deoban Reserve Forest Range, Chakrata Coer Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee (CMCAH), organized educational field visit of the BAMS Batch 2023 was conducted on 23rd April 2026 to the Deoban Reserve Forest Range, Chakrata. A total of 27 students, accompanied by faculty members Dr. Kush Pandey, Dr. Vikas Jadon, and Dr. Pratibha Singh, participated in the trip. The visit was guided by forest officials, who provided valuable insights throughout the tour. Students explored the Deoban Hi-Tech Medicinal Plant Nursery, which houses more than 45 medicinal plant species, including rare, endangered, and threatened species such as Aconitum heterophyllum (Atis), Lilium polyphyllum (Ksheerakakoli), Polygonatum cirrhifolium (Mahameda), Picrorhiza kurroa (Kutki), etc. They also visited a high-altitude floral biodiversity park, where they observed important medicinal plants such as Taxus baccata(Thuner), Skimmia laureola (Kedarpatti), Trillium govanianum (Naagchatra), and other plants related to Astavarga Dravya, along with a cryptogarden and the local flora of the Deoban range. Field visit at de-addiction center COER Medical College of Ayurveda & Hospital (CMCAH), Kayachikitsa department organized a field visit on 9th April 2026 at Nirvan de-addiction and rehabilitation centre, Laksar ,Haridwar. The camp was led by Dr. Anurita Gupta Malhotra, Dr. Khushboo Bhardwaj and Dr. Harshmani Mamgain.Objectives of the visit is to provide practical exposure and enhance student understanding of clinical practices, drug de-addiction management and rehabilitation procedures. All students of Batch 2021, participated, interacted with patients and also go through the treatment protocol given for de-addiction.
